For 40 years, the Sumner Community Food Bank has been providing meals for our neighbors in need, growing from a local food bank to a food distribution hub that impacts over 60,000 people across the Puget Sound. Together, we have provided nutritious food and groceries so families can focus on succeeding without worrying about their next meal.
Yet the demand has never been higher...and it continues to grow. With the rising food prices, cuts to food benefit programs, and uncertainty around every corner, more care is needed for families in our communities who are left with empty refrigerators.
