MultiCare Partnership

MultiCare’s mission - a healing and a healthy future - is central to our partnership with them, and we're grateful for the support they provide in identifying community needs and improving the quality of life in our communities. Through our Free Dental Days partnership and the grant support, we are together improving our communities.

Free Dental Days

MultiCare, the Sumner Community Food Bank, and the rest of the Pierce County Local Impact Network identified the need for dental care and resources in the Pierce County area, and so the Free Dental Days in Sumner were created. Each month, people in need receive urgent dental care, and we provide resources for other dental needs, referrals, and even children's screenings & sealants in the summer!

Thanks to MultiCare and the rest of the Pierce County Local Impact Network, we're able to help hundreds of people each month with much needed free dental care.

Grants

Thanks to the generosity of the MultiCare's Community Partnership Fund, we were awarded grants in 2022 and 2023 to support our food bank program, which provides food for over 4,000 households through our marketplace and impacts over 60,000 through our partnership network across the region.
